Last weekend, we re-opened our Magic Woodworking Shop. We are in our third session; the majority of the kids are continuing from the last year. The theme of the Spring 2017 woodworking series is the Love for Books. Children are making, decorating, wood-burning and staining creative book shelves that they will then take home.
In the process of building, children work with the concepts of math, geometry, physics and engineering, developing physical skills, spatial and mechanical reasoning and conceptual thinking.
