Join Us for the Earth Day Tree Week
April 17th - April 23rd

Join Us for the American Chestnut Revival Event on June 10th

Mon, April 17th, 2023 9am -4pm

American Chesnut Care, Emmaus, PA (private farm) 

On this day, we will care for 26 American Chestnut trees (fertilize, weed, inspect for any signs of Chestnut blight, upgrade tree shelters) that we planted in prior years.

we will meet at 4936 Skytop Dr, Emmaus PA, park and walk half a mile to the planting site.

Tue, April 18th, 2023 9am -4pm

American Chesnut and Native Food Tree Care at Graver Arboretum of  Muhlenberg College 

1581 Bushkill Center Rd, Bath, PA 18014

We will perform light TLC for 100+ of American Chestnut, Paw Paw, Persimmon and other trees that we planted in prior years, inspect the trees for any damage, and adjust rodent and deer protection.

American Chesnut Tree Care at Columcille Megalith Park

We will perform light TLC for 50+ of American Chestnut trees that we planted in prior years, inspect the trees for any damage, and adjust rodent and deer protection.

We invite Volunteers, Students and Scout Groups to Join our Planting Events. The American Chestnut Conservation Field Course manual is intended for students wishing to gain foundational knowledge about the history and plight of the American Chestnut tree, tree care and maintenance, as well as the trees' importance in in the Northeastern ecosystem, the impact of its demise on other species, and symbiotic relationships with companion plans and fungi.
